I have a small studio that my husband has aptly named "The Card Factory." It is overflowing with rubber stamps, paper, markers, magazines, catalogs, card samples, swaps, tools and embellishments. It is my therapy! I spend hours in "The Card Factory" stamping, cutting, folding, and gluing my little masterpieces. Some of my cards turn out to be very neat and precise while others turn out to be mini collages and are distressed, altered art. I am fascinated with all aspects and techniques of creating with paper. I am inspired by everything around me from gift wrap to cereal boxes to Mother Nature! I make a lot of cards and use them to keep in touch with friends and family. I support our troops by sending them cards and I donate cards to several charities. I have also been fortunate enough to be published in Scrap and Stamp Magazine, Just Cards Magazine and CardMaker Magazine. I would encourage anyone to try rubber stamping and card making. It is a hobby for young and old alike. Everyone loves to receive a handmade card! Live, Love, Laugh and Learn! |
